Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Accounting Teams develop, implement and/or maintain one or more accounting systems: Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Revenue Reconciliation, Cash Flows, etc. in accordance with GAAP policies and procedures. They also design operational procedures and processes that meet audit standards and improve efficiency.
 

Tasks and Responsibilities
•    Support general ledger accounting for respective entities 
•    Post the accrual and corrective journal entries
•    Operate lease accounting transactions via NAKISA tool 
•    Complete specific month end close tasks
•    Prepare specifications and reconciliations of the general ledger accounts
•    Support fixed assets accounting activities for the entities  
•    Support Intercompany accounting with debit notes postings 
•    Support monthly, quarterly and annual reporting required by the region
•    Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the R2R function
•    Ensure robust compliance environment with applicable policies, procedures and processes
•    Build strong relationship with team members

 

What your background should look like:

Background:
•    Active student of finance and accounting faculties 
•    Ability to work in culturally diverse teams with many levels of personnel
•    Ability to work with deadlines
•    Progress in graduation for a degree in Finance / Accounting
•    Strong written and oral communication skills 
•    Good command in English 
•    Good analytical skills. Ability to identify and resolve problems
