What You’ll Be Doing
As the EMI & SI Test Manager, you’ll oversee the operations of multiple global high-speed labs while leading technical teams focused on testing and characterizing TE’s advanced product portfolio. You'll manage lab infrastructure, testing processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and external vendors. You'll balance strategic
 planning with hands-on engineering oversight, and ensure that TE’s testing capabilities continue to set the standard across the industry.

    

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve high-speed test lab processes, procedures, and equipment across multiple global locations.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and product teams to align priorities, workloads, and test strategies.
  • Ensure lab operations meet safety, EHS, and compliance standards globally.
  • Lead the development of strategic ab capability roadmaps.
  • Track, manage, and optimize lab performance metrics (data quality, throughput, delivery timelines).
  • Serve as a key technical and operational interface to both internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Stay hands-on and engaged with SI and EMC testing, data analysis, and advanced troubleshooting.

What your background should look like:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in a test lab or product development environment, focused on high-speed, RF, SI, or EMC testing.
  • 5+ years in a leadership or lab management role.
  • Strong communication skills, able to influence, lead, and collaborate across geographies and disciplines.
  • Deep understanding of high-speed design principles, electromagnetic behavior, and RF fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and documentation/reporting tools.

   

Preferred Experience:

  • Hands-on with equipment: VNAs, TDRs, Oscilloscopes, PIM Testers, BERT, Pattern Generators, Spectrum/Network Analyzers.
  • Familiar with tools such as Keysight ADS, PLTS, MATLAB, Python, SNPexpert, LabView.
  • Experience with Mode-Stirred or Anechoic Chambers, amplifiers, antennas, and soldering.
  • Familiarity with PCB design and layout, cable/connector assemblies.
  • Comfortable working with 2D/3D CAD tools.

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $128,100 – $192,100 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
