TE Connectivity in Berwyn, PA is looking for a Data Scientist to build AI models, test hypothesis and validation: Identify practical approaches to test and learn key hypotheses to extend analytic insights. Identify AI solutions that increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting and other business outcomes. Develop statistical and machine learning algorithms to enable solutions to complex business questions through iterative process and rapid prototyping. Use Artificial intelligence approaches including optimization, simulation, regression, decision trees, neural networks, cluster analysis, mixed/ ensemble models, and time series forecasting. Code and conduct analyses using programming languages such as Python, Spark, R, and others within Amazon Web Services Environment. Assess the effectiveness and accuracy on data sources, data gathering techniques, data modeling and results obtained to ensure completeness and uniformity. Work on Data gathering, exploratory analysis and visualization: Identify relevant structured and unstructured data, determine appropriate acquisition approaches including skim relevant data or creation of structured database for manipulation. Identify and gather data from disparate sources and structuring of data using Python/R/SQL. Pull data into analytic environment using Oracle, SQL, Hadoop, or Excel from cloud and automating the data collecting process. Analyze big data to gather patterns to prove/disprove a hypothesis. Interpret the data to discover solutions and opportunities and communicate findings to business leaders. Facilitate the assimilation of insights through visualizations, dashboards and workflows designed in conjunction with BI and Analytics partners using ggplot, matplotlib or Tableau. Create specific project management plans defining the scope (number and type of analyses, assumptions) and timelines, ensuring that data is obtainable for the analysis required. Productionize, scale, and integrate MLOps: Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and work with Machine Learning. DevOps to productionize and monitor outcomes. Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance, model drift and data accuracy. Telecommuting permitted.
Requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related field (or foreign equivalent), plus 6 months of experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation.
Special Requirements: Requires 6 months of experience with the following:
- Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence.
- Programming (Python, R, SQL).
- Advanced Statistics.
- Cloud Computing.
- Machine Learning Model Evaluation.
- Feature engineering.
- Data Visualization.
