Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Quality Assurance Teams are responsible for all or part of an organization's Quality Management System, including conformance and continuous improvement initiatives. They work on systemic evaluation of products, services, facilities, manufacturing or business processes, to ensure that standards of quality are being met. Develop and implement quality plans, programs and procedures using quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses. They reviews, analyze and report on quality discrepancies, investigate problems and executes quality audits, and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. The team works closely with manufacturing, engineering, customers, or suppliers and subcontractors to ensure requirements are met.

Your main tasks

•8D-report preparation, root cause analyses, corrective actions definition, verification of corrective actions.
•Key contact for the customer.
•Preparation of quality documentation (CP, QIP, Failure catalogue etc.).
•Maintain and develop the Quality Management according to IATF 16949.
•Execute key quality strategies consistent with plant performance and measures.
•Implement, maintain (including reporting changes) and improve Business Operating System in his/her area of intervention, as well as in interaction with other areas / departments and EMEA guidelines
•Be in line with TE strategy map (e.g. extraordinary customer service) and Quality Policy 
•Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and legal regulations
•Support and guide employees to enable them to work safely, comply with regulations, TE policies and specifications and on achieving environmental sustainability goals
•Strive for continuous improvement of processes towards customer satisfaction
•Have the authority to stop Shipment and production in case of quality issue

Your ideal background

Engineer with university degree
+2years in a similar position:
•Experience in automotive business
•Experience in quality assurance
Fluent in both spoken and written English

Mentors serve as a guide to navigate the organization and provide additional support in their career endeavors at the company. Our program provides a holistic experience for interns that targets professional development and personal growth. 

Our internship program typically runs May thru August and gives students the opportunity to work on projects that contribute to the success of their team and build on their classroom experience. Throughout the 10–12-week program, interns will be provided with:

Timeline
TE Connectivity recruits on campus between September and March for New Grad (FT), Rotational, Internship and Co-op positions beginning in May. Once you have applied to a position, your resume and application will be reviewed. If you are selected to move to the next step in the application process, you will be contacted by a recruiter. Once you accept an offer, the onboarding process will begin in January for interns who have committed to offers in the fall semester and upon acceptance for interns who have committed to offers in the spring semester.
